＃写真いらない問題が多い・・・

では、2024年栃木県公立高校入試問題の過去問の英語を「かいせつ」していきます。

Tom: Hey, Ami. What are you doing ?
トム（T）：やあ、アミ。何をしてるんだい？

Ami: Hi, Tom. I’m making a poster for a presentation about the history of our school.
アミ（A）：こんにちは、トム。私たちの学校の歴史に関する発表用のポスターをつくってるの。

Tom: Wow, looks good! Oh, our school had only one building in the past.
T：わあ、うまくできてるね！へえ、僕らの学校には昔は校舎が1つしかなかったんだ。

Ami: Yes. As you can see in the picture on the right, one more building was built in front of the old one. Then, look at the trees in both pictures.
A：そうなの。右側の写真でわかるとおり、古い校舎の前にもう1つ校舎が建てられたの。それから、両方の写真に写ってる木を見て。

Tom: Wow, are they the same trees? It’s taller than the old building now.
T：わあ。これって同じ木なの？：今では古い校舎よりも高くなってるね。

Ami: You’re right! Look at the pictures of school uniforms. In the old design, girls wore skirts and boys wore hats. Now, we can choose one from these three kinds of uniforms.My favorite part of the new design is this tie.
A：そうなの！この制服の写真を見て。昔の日デザインでは、女子はスカートをはいて、男子は帽子をかぶってたの。今は、3種類の制服から1つ選べるわ。新しいデザインの中で私が好きなのはこのネクタイよ。

Tom: I like this jacket because it’s easy to move my arms.
T：僕はこのジャケットが好きだな、だって脱を動かしやすいからね。

Ami: Its interesting to learn about our school, isn’t it? Actually, I’m thinking of putting more information on my poster.
A：自分たちの学校のことを知るのっておもしろいよね。実は、このポスターにもっとたくさんの情報を盛り込もうと思ってるの。

Tom: How about school lunch? I was surprised that the menu changes every day. What is the most popular food on the menu ?
T：給食のことはどう？僕はメニューが毎日変わることにびっくりしたんだ。メニューの中で一番人気があるのは何なのかな？

Ami: I think noodle such as ramen, but I’m not sure.
A：ラーメンとか、麺類だと思うけど、自信はないわ。

Tom: So, why don’t you check the most popular school lunch in the past and now? Then put the result on your poster.
T：じゃあ。昔と今で一番人気の給食を調べてみたら？そして、その結果を君のポスターに載せるのさ。

Ami: That’s a good idea! I will do that !
A：それはいいアイデアね！そうしてみる！
