ボブ：ニーナ？君の助けが必要なんだ。今家にいるの？

Nina: Yes, Bob. What’s the matter?
ニーナ：いるわよ、ポプ。どうしたの？

Bob:Well, I’m at the soccer stadium. Practicing before the match will start in 20 minutes. But, I can’t find my soccer uniform.
ポプ：ええと、今サッカースタジアムにいるんだ。試合前の練習があと20分で始まるんだ。でも，僕のサッカーのユニフォームが見つからないんだよ。

Nina: What? Today’s match is very important and you prepared well lastnight, right?
ニーナ：何ですって？今日の試合はとても大切だから、あなたは昨日の夜しっかり準備をしたんでしょう？

Bob:Yes, I think so. But my uniform is not here. Can you go and look around my room? Its color is blue.
ポプ：うん、そう思うんだ。でも僕のユニフォームがここにないんだよ。僕の部屋に行って見てみてくれる？色は青だよ。

Nina: Of course, Bob. Please wait… OK, I’m in your room, now.
ニーナ：もちろんよ、ボブ。ちょっと待ってね・・いいわよ、今あなたの部屋にいるわ。

ポプ：ああ、台所のテーブルのあたりだ！そこでお弁当を取った時に、ユニフォームをもっていたんだ。

Bob: I guess I put my uniform inside the box by the door. Please open it.
ボブ：ユニフォームはドアのそばの箱の中に入れたと思うんだ。開けてみて。

Nina:…No, there is no uniform here. Any other places?
ニーナ：・・・・違うわ、ここにはユニフォームはないわよ。他の場所は？

Bob: Oh, around the table in the kitchen! When I took my lunch box there,I had the uniform with me.
ボブ：ああ、台所のテーブルのあたりだ！そこでお弁当を取った時に、ユニフォームをもっていたんだ。

Nina: Around the table? No, it’s not here. Bob, are you sure that you left　it?
ニーナ：テーブルのあたり？いいえ、ここにはないわよ。ポプ、本当にそれを置いていったの？

Bob: What do you mean?
ポブ：どういうこと？

Nina: I think you are excited now. How about looking inside your bag once again?
ニーナ：あなたは今興奮している（慌てている）と思うわ。もう一度かばんの中を見てみたらどうかしら？

Bob:OK.Wow! Sorry, you are right! It’s here under the lunch box!
ボブ：分かった。わあ！ごめん、君の言う通りだ！お弁当箱の下にあった！

Nina: I knew it. Please relax, Bob. Now, you are ready.
ニーナ：やっぱりね。落ち着いて、ボブ。さあ、準備はいいわね。

Bob:Yes. Thank you very much.
ボブ：うん。どうもありがとう。

Nina: You’re welcome. Please try your best! I’ll go and watch your matchsoon.Oh? Here are your soccer shoes at the entrance.
ニーナ：どういたしまして。頑張ってね。もうすぐあなたの試合を見に行くわ。あら？玄関にサッカーシューズがあるわよ。

Bob: Oh no! I forgot to bring my soccer shoes!
ボブ：ああ、しまった！サッカーシューズを持って来るのを忘れた！

Nina: Don’t worry, Bob. I will bring these shoes to you in 10 minutes by car.
ニーナ：心配しないで、ボブ。私が車で、10分であなたのところへ持って行くわ。

Bob:Thank you again, Nina. I’ll wait for you.
ボブ：ありがとう（よろしくお願い）、ニーナ。待ってるよ。

Nina: No problem. See you soon.
